This winter's athletic season was a great success. All of our teams had great accomplishments both on and off the court this season and we are very proud of all of our athletes. I have had many positive comments from the opponents and officials that have come to BMS, which shows, that the Christian education that students receive here can be seen by others outside of our school. This is definitely something that should be commended. Our boys' soccer and basketball teams have received the Best Sportsmanship awards this year from the member schools of the Susquehanna Independent Athletic Conference. This is a great achievement and it says a lot about the character of our students and the coaches that lead them. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the basketball teams at BMS this winter!

The end of the winter athletic season also begins the spring sports season. Jr. High field hockey has already begun practices and will start their season with a home game against Lewistown on April 9 th at 4:00 PM. The entire Jr. High field hockey schedule is listed on the enclosed insert and can be viewed on both the school website and Miss Yoder's athletic department website (http://sites.google.com/a/ bellevillemennoniteschool.org/bmsathletics/). There is no better way to spend a beautiful spring day in the Big Valley than to come out and support our Jr. High field hockey program!
